I am Karl Post, a seasoned engineer and leader with over 35 years of experience delivering innovative products and services across diverse industries. My journey has spanned the creation of cutting-edge ride and show control systems, developing augmented reality applications, and leading global teams in the realms of software, hardware, and systems engineering. At Universal Destinations & Experiences, I lead the development of Digital Twin technologies for simulating attractions worldwide. From crafting magical guest experiences at Disney parks to building transformative holographic products at IKIN, I bring a unique blend of innovation, creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to every challenge I undertake.
The RYZ is IKIN's external display that can connect to phones and display holograms. The RYZ App is the holographic hub where you can play games, upload photos to make hologram memories, or create your own holographic scene in maker studio.
Introduced the IKIN ARC large-format holographic device at IT EXPO in 2021.
Innovated the Augmented Reality Unity application using Google Glass that was demonstrated to the US Army.
Supported the Cubic LCS Training System product that was delivered to the US Navy. This Classroom-Based Training (CBT) system is an AAA Serious Game developed to train Navy Sailors before getting onboard the actual ship.

There was a need to reduce the cost for Disney's FastPass+ product by $6M. I invented the Cast Indicator (High-Bright LED) to replace a computer console which displayed the status of the front of the FastPass+ Digital Access Point on the top or back of the stanchion for the Cast Member to see the status. The Cast Indicator was powered by Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and the software was written in C for the Arduino controller.
I established the Imaginuity team for Cubic, with a $1.2M budget, to innovate new and unique products for the company. We held hackathons and Product72 events where employees would be able to compete and create a product in 72 hours or less.
